How individual lunch delivery works

Individual delivery is fully online. Go to cafeteriamiami.com, select delivery, and enter your address. If you're in our Uber Direct zone, the system quotes a fee and an estimated time. Most individual orders deliver in 25–40 minutes from our kitchen at 1150 NW 72nd Ave.

What's available for individual delivery:

• Full Cuban hot plates — ropa vieja, picadillo, pollo asado, vaca frita, each with rice, beans, and plantains or maduros
• Sandwiches — Cuban, media noche, pan con bistec, pan con croqueta
• Sides, batidos, Cuban coffee drinks
• Breakfast items — pastelitos, croquetas, empanadas, tostada cubana

The online system handles the address check automatically. If you're outside the Uber Direct zone, it'll let you know. For most of Downtown Miami, Brickell, Doral, and the airport corridor, you're inside the zone.

How catering delivery works — from the first call to drop-off

Catering delivery starts with a call to (786) 558-5374. Here's the full sequence:

1. You tell us your group size, what you want, and when you need it. Cuban plates, sandwich platters, breakfast trays, a mix — and the delivery window that fits your meeting or lunch break.
2. We confirm availability and quote the total. For groups of 10–25, most catering orders are ready for delivery within 2–3 hours of booking. Same-day is available if you call before 10 AM.
3. We lock in a delivery window. This is a real commitment. If we say 12:15 PM, we're there at 12:15 PM. Not 12:40.
4. On the day, our team loads the trays and delivers directly. No app handoff for larger orders. We handle the last mile ourselves so the food arrives hot and intact.
5. We set it down and you're ready to serve. Trays, serving utensils, napkins, and any condiments you requested are in the kit.

What's available for catering delivery

From the catering menu:

• Cuban tray (feeds 10–12): choice of protein — ropa vieja, picadillo, pollo, or vaca frita — with rice, black beans, plantains, and Cuban bread
• Sandwich platter: mix of Cuban sandwiches or media noche, cut and individually wrapped, with mustard and chips
• Breakfast drop: pastelitos, empanadas, croquetas, tostadas, plus a colada with cups for the group
• Mixed spread: two or more trays in combination, sized for the specific group

How far we deliver in Miami

For catering, we deliver across Miami-Dade County. Typical delivery zones by travel time from our kitchen:

• 5–10 minutes: Airport corridor and Doral — our fastest zone, no traffic buffer needed
• 12–15 minutes: Downtown Miami, Brickell, and Flagami corridor
• 15–20 minutes: Hialeah, Sweetwater, and the Miami Lakes corridor
• 18–22 minutes: Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, South Miami
• 22–30 minutes: Kendall, Pembroke Pines, Miramar

For the outer zones — Kendall, Pembroke Pines, Miramar — we ask for at least 3 hours' lead time so we can schedule accurately. Booking same-day for those distances is doable but call before 9:30 AM.

For 5–9 people: it depends. If each person wants to choose their own order, individual online delivery is cleaner. If you want one cohesive tray that feeds the table without logistics, call us for a small catering order.

Standing office accounts — weekly or recurring orders

Several offices in Doral, Brickell, Coral Gables, and downtown have standing weekly or bi-weekly orders. If your team does lunch on a schedule, mention it when you first call. We keep your group size, preferred tray, and delivery window on file so future orders take 60 seconds.

One office in Brickell has the same Cuban tray drop every Tuesday at noon. They call Monday afternoon to confirm, and that's the entire interaction. If your office does structured team lunches, that model works for groups of 10 to 80+.
